A commercial builder led by engineers and project managers

Ikigai is an Aboriginal‑owned commercial construction company, prequalified with NSW Government. Our degree‑qualified engineers and project managers lead a team of licensed trades. We deliver fit‑outs, refurbishments, repairs and complex projects for government agencies and large private project management firms, including schools, TAFE campuses, telecommunications exchanges, public buildings and commercial sites across Australia's east coast.

Tamworth High School: staged refurbishment

We refurbished the food, metal and wood technology workshops, library, hall and toilets, and built a new plasma cutting shed. Work was staged around the school term.

St Leonards: asbestos removal and roof replacement

Staged removal of asbestos‑containing material and a new roof on an operational telecommunications building. Our engineers planned each stage so the building stayed watertight and the equipment inside kept running.

Parramatta: rooftop remediation

Temporary works planning let us replace a failed membrane with a three‑layer torch‑on system across 600 m² of rooftop plant, with services running for the whole job.
