Parramatta Roof Remediation
Commercial
Complex waterproofing project with staged works around active equipment and extensive building upgrades.
A complex project that involved removing the existing failed waterproof membrane and replacing it with a three-layer bituminous torch-on system. The roof area totalled 600 m2, and as this was a highly sensitive telecommunications site, the roof was covered with active plant and equipment essential to maintaining the building's operations. The works required detailed temporary works planning to ensure continuous operation of telecommunication services throughout the project. The scope also extended to waterproofing across six levels within the building, replacement of Colorbond roofing, and the installation of a new wastewater stack and floor wastes on levels 2 to 9.
