St Leonards Asbestos Removal and Roof Replacement
A high-risk roof replacement with asbestos removal, waterproofing and extensive facade remediation.
What we delivered
This high-risk project involved removing and replacing an existing steel roof, beneath which was a waterproof membrane adhered with asbestos-containing glue.
The works were carefully planned and staged to remove the existing roof sheets, waterproof membrane and ACM glue, then apply elastomeric paint and install new Klip-Lok roofing. Keeping the building watertight throughout was essential, as it housed active and sensitive telecommunications equipment.
The facade also required extensive concrete spalling repairs, replacement of degraded mastic control joints, and repainting of all concrete surfaces.
