Our story

Built on relationships and a solutions‑driven approach

Our philosophy is simple: make our clients' lives as easy as possible.

Founded in 2020, Ikigai Contractors was established with a clear purpose: to deliver commercial construction projects built on strong client relationships and a solutions‑driven approach.

With experience gained at some of Australia's leading builders, our team has delivered complex civil, commercial and infrastructure projects across the country, and brings that capability and practical delivery to every project.

Today, Ikigai provides project management and construction services, with degree‑qualified engineers and project managers leading a team of licensed trades. We deliver fit‑outs, refurbishments, repairs and complex projects for government agencies and private project management firms, at schools, TAFE campuses, telecommunications exchanges, public buildings and commercial sites, servicing Australia's east coast.

Our leadership team

Engineers, project managers and licensed trades

Our directors are a civil engineer and a construction manager, and both are qualified carpenters. The same team scopes, prices and runs every project.
