Mowbray Road Public School
A new synthetic grass surface with new drainage and sandstone seating, built over a prepared base during the school holidays.

What we delivered
We designed and built a new synthetic grass surface at Mowbray Road Public School. Works included removing the existing turf and topsoil, excavation and subgrade preparation, new subsoil drainage and a stormwater pit connected into the existing system, and a compacted road base and sand bed to finished levels.
We then installed a 40 mm premium synthetic grass, a new concrete pad over the stormwater pit, and sandstone block seating, with mulched garden beds around the existing trees.
The works were programmed for the school holidays, with a traffic guidance plan for truck access through the narrow Willandra Street entrance.
